but well i still want to thanks everyone that wished me and all the nice words ! thanks! 25 y'old. 25. oh my.. :) but man! i do have a really good time and really striving for what i want in my career. worked so hard yet played .. even harder! :D i'm pretty sure that this kind of things only happen once in a life time. this chapter is going to be interesting in my life. experienced the unexperienced. and fullfilled the un-fullfilled... just felt that im dang lucky! yeah. although people always said 一天，二命，三风水. yet, you have to work hard to get what you wanted. and ofcourse.. luck still plays a big role here ..

Birthday was a peacefull one this year :) thanks to buddies that bang into my room and feed me with coke! and had a nice and loud 飲勝! appreciate it guys! and of course a surprise bday cake that has a "25" number shaped candle on it! and when im like 101%full from dinner. haha .. priceless! thanks doodes!. eat well, sleep well, dreamt well.. what a nice way to pass a birthday. love it.

追vs弃

是在向前走吗？还是在向后？是在追求着吗？还是在放弃？要学的怎么去平衡吧。要追求某样，也就是说要放弃某样。日子过的就了，头脑开始发育了。活了二十多年是白白活的吗？我在追求的是对的吗？我所在努力的，后来会变成空吗？如果追求的将来等于空。那我又该转向那方面呢？只有那么一条路吗？想想到底自己的长处还有什么。我能够吗？放弃梦想，继续走一条比较安全，实在的前途。我的平衡力能够长久吗？开始觉得、或者是说明白为什么别人会说，"passion is your fuel, and skill is only your mobility" 有梦想才是你的推动力，一个人有多少的能力是重要的。听起来又好像需要积极一点，不断向前。其实，推动了和能力是相依为命，谁都不能够没有谁，没有能力，更多的推动力只会变成压力，最后只有白做。如果实力十足，没有推动力，是多么的可惜。所以这两方面都需要一定的平衡。拼个命去追求一个自己没有能力得到的，最后别说得到，可能失去的比自己想得到的还要多。可是如果不去尝试，那里会知道自己的能不能得到？

其实，这是没有的辩的。都是需要一定的平衡的吧。说到一大堆，我其实想表达的是。。

这条路很难走。。可是学会怎么平衡。一点就不难了。不付出，就不能得到。所以。。我也不懂，就看看吧。

还好我有一个是肯定不会错的。即使要我用这条老命来换，我也心甘情愿。因为这条路不是空的。。应该学习平衡平衡。都找到最好的了，为什么还需要追求一些空的呢？够了就好了，给再多就=压力。

been soo busy working and playing recently :) never got the chance to do stuffs that i'll enjoy. some own stuffs!

always wanted to get into zbrushing, and always things turn out worse than i'd expect i'll be doing.. firstly having technical difficulties, secondly, very time consuming to go through the video tutorials i had with me for years! :p . Thanks to a buddy of mine that guide me through the stuffs that i've known and things that i've not known. and finally the "WTF!" stage is over! and got hang of it already.

And are having real fun with it! wip. . usavich! :) an interpretation of my version..

still lost more to learn , ways to do things faster etc.. i guess it takes time and practice. ah! at least something i enjoy doing :) i picked this line up from a tutorial by a concept artist he said "i prefer starting straight from zbrush and have fun with it. Instead of starting the base mesh from 3rd party 3d apps. because by the time when u get your base mesh ready from there, you might already loose your interest with it." which i think it's dang true, that's at least what happened to me, not sure for everyone else here. always caught up by the technical stuffs from 3dmax or maya, the amount of afford to put in there took out a large portion of my interest to continue on sculpting it. or simply, maybe i just suck at it! :D oh well .. more to come!

流汗！冷水凉！

前天的暴冷，今天又暴热！自从来到加州的我。从没感受过无缘无故的，这样站着都会流汗的那种感觉！今天，我流汗了！我！终于流汗了！除了运动或者是吃了什么超级辣的东西之外，都没有流过汗了！哇，对我着个“过动儿”（penny帮我取的外号）来说，不简直就是一级棒吗？因为都这么厉害流汗，汗孔应该是吃了兴奋剂。拼命的流汗，好似唔晒 $ o甘。可能就是‘人’吗，人最厉害就是犯贱吗。。今天既然，无缘无故的流了少许的汗！哇，兴奋到啊。或许是因为想家吧。。哦，然后冲了个冷水凉。wohoo! 不知该怎么表达我的兴奋！ :) 天气冷，都没有机会能够洗个清冷的澡。哈。爽！

mm, 傻够了。就当我没讲过什么。:)

来个小update ..

Few weeks back, a group of us went to Yosemite (yo-sayhh-meh-tee) . Somewhere northeast about 5-6 hours from our place. Kinda big group this time round, as we had never traveled in this big before *12 of us. 6 joined because they wanted to camp there, and the rest of us will not join the camping. It's dang cold out there. When we were there, reached around 5+ and was still able to catch the sunrise, and the tempreture was about -11ºc. That was what the iphone said. but well it's not -3 or -6 not as cold as we were during our stay in Grand Canyon. but anyway, few of us were under dressed. Experienced the chill that can dry your skin in few mins and then it started to get itchy. But the scenery was WOW, so WOW that we have forgotten that it's so cold over there :) Mountains everywhere, and at leasat one waterfall for each of the mountains! breath taking view. Believe that it's gonna be prettier during summer. But some of our mates went there during winter and that was pretty awesome too! a lot of the ugly branches and stuffs was covered by thick white snow, it'll give a treat or some when it comes to photo taking.

Grand Canyon Trip

Went for a trip to Grand Canyon for one of the long weekend. It's a 1100+ miles(1770km) round trip! This time it's traveling towards the East, No longer up north or down to the south. We've drove across 2 states. Nevada and Arizona. Grand Canyon isnt much if you're not gonna hike down. But it's a very hard hike. Due to the overall height of about 6k feet, oxygen were very thin. you'll be inhalling like no body business. 3 big gulps of breath and you'll probably get one gulp of oxygen.. and it's very cold there. It's from -3 to 0 degree celsius overall, but that's not what makes us cold. It's the strong wind that kills you! :D but well it's fun. Spent 2 days at Grand Canyon. Then off we go, drove another route home, pass by route 66. Was anticipating sometime similiar with the featured animation "Cars". But seen nothing similiar other than some of the shops there, tiny wodden shops. Route 66 is a long route. probably we're not in the correct portion of it :) But we enjoyed it. Then head up to Hoover Dam, another few hours drive. It was so crowded, we were thinking if it's because of Transformers the movie that made that place famous, or it's because it was famous and Transformers had on of their scene captured there. The dam is the border line of Arizona and Nevada. And there is a 1 hour difference between this 2 states. So we're like crossing a time zone. back and forth. Stopped nearby for sunset. then drove home! It was a 8+ hour drive when we're going to Grand Canyon. And the journey home took us 16 hours ! wow.. and it sets a record on my driving book.

Finally.. did not expect it to arrive that early! it was as described. Mint condition! really really good deal! cant wait to load my first roll and try it out! best deal ever. The metering is weak though. probably it's the battery, or it's my dark room condition. gotta bring out and shoot this weekend. Feels great!
finally my OM lenses can be fully utilized. And they finally able to meet their real mom! instead of hanging on to my adapter on 4/3 bodies.. Really felt happy for my OM lenses.. it's like both long lost being paired up again! :D

Woke up early in the morning around 3am, and head out around 4 with 2 cars going up north with freeway I-5. Wanted to go see sunrise and some snow today :) Decided a spot where we want to head up to the hills to watch sunrise. But then ended up, it's a trail that we have to walk and hike. It's about 4.3miles (6.8km) length. I almost broke my leg. Strained too much on the tendons, very tiring. Nothing much up there though. So we head down again and head for our breakfast. It took us 2 hours non stop up and down the trail. Then to mount Pinos to check out if there are still snow up there :) since winter is ending now. Just trying our luck and we're lucky enough. well, it's only i that have not seen snow before. So it's understandable that im like a little kid that see a giant pile of sand and just wanted to jump on in and play (that's what i did when i was a kid though) :) anyway it's a fun experience. and a great Chinese New Year trip. Will head down L.A for the Chinese New Year Parade. Expecting fire crackers! will see. cheers ! and Happy Chinese New Year everyone!.

it's been a busy early 2009. been working very hard for the past week. and i think it's worth the sleepless nights :) Always would take my sweet time to work on something way out of my job scope during my crunch time! :D and this is what i have came up with.

happy new 2009 and chinese new year is at the corner of this week. Too bad there isn't holiday here. First time not having my chinese new year with family and friends. thanks to the technology now, im still able to web cam home to 拜个年。

It's been a very happening year for me. It's a year where the turning point of life is. And also a bigger leap of my career happened in this year. Hopefully it'll be as good as 2008 in this new 2009.

Greetings all!. During the last few days of 2008, we drove up to San Francisco and meet up with the rest of mates that went Lake Tahoe and Yosemite for thier snowboarding and snow playing! :) I thought it's gonna be a lonely and boring end of 2008. Because was planned to stayed in my room and play xbox360 throughout 2008. Well, nope i did not. and i'm glad that i did not. It's my best trip ever! I can't even describe how pretty the scenery was. It's so amazing throughout the whole freeway. Used to drive long hours from Singapore to Kuantan, yeah pekan had some nice coastline view. but it's so different. I just can't describe, and the worse is i can't even capture it with my camera :D have to be there and experience your own and you'll know what im saying! anyway, cut short. more photos :) will have to trouble abit as i'll be just posting links here to my flickr account.

Curry day

went H Mart again, it's a really nice place to shop. Korean supermarket, new and big place + few people compared to 99 ranch. Sometimes, when i wanted to cook something, nothing can stop me lol. I will do whatever it takes to achieve what i wanted too. And it's very random, *pop* .. suddenly felt so tempted..有个很想吃咖喱的欲望。 went ahead and hunt for the stuffs i want. saw a packet of Japanese Curry, choose the hottest one. there's a mild, normal, and HOT. well go for the HOT of course :D but turn out ok,.. 3 out of 5 :p but overall its nice. Good enough to let me "stim" for while :D

turned out. not bad .. at least it fulfill my desire of wanting to eat curry! :p Jailbreaked my iphone again, winterboard seems stable already. so i decided to jailbreak it and it's definitely a good choice. I'm so far behind the iphone thingy now, there's so much cool 3rd party apps out there. :D found a decent video recording apps. and did some recording + editing just for the fun of it. now i have a "handy" cam :) great. quality isnt bad at all. well, not decent enough to put it side by side with a HD camcorder :p

Balboa Island

After friday night's craze, we slept till late afternoon and keep to our plan to head up to L.A for some crazy sales shopping. When we're almost going out, the sunlight hits in my room and it's so yellow as like a sun set light, but it's only 2pm! Although the sun sets around 5pm and pitch dark around 530pm. But it's only 2pm! how can that be? went out and take a good look at the sky, there's a thick dark clouds and that's what cause the wierd sun light, yet the other part of the sky is clear blue. So it gives a nice ligthing to my car :p so i went ahead and took a few shots.

So, we continue our jorney to L.A. And was as suspected, it's no dark clouds. Listen to the radio and found out that was smoke from the wild fire that are burning up there. It's really scarry, i did not took any photos because i both my hands was on the steering wheels :p As we're approaching towards north, it get's hazzier, worse than KL's worse hit haze. Sun is blocked by the thick smoke, and it's so yellow. and you can see ashes white and black flying towards the car, And smell of burning. Imagine you're in sillent hill. it's worse than that :p And heard from radio that lots of freeways are closing down because of the poor visiblity and the burning, people are stuck in the exit of freeways and they just abandoned thier car and save themselves. That's how serious it is. We decided to turn back and not to continue even we try to avoid the few affected freeways. Better safe than sorry and while we're not stuck in any exits yet. Wanted to stop somewhere to take few shots but the air is just so bad. So we head to the beach and wanted to go for the Frozen Banana that we always crave of! :) out of the dark and into the bright, with clear sky and fresh air!

It's company's anniversary celebration last friday. We get a day off and a free ticket to Knott's Berry Farm, and then we head on to Disneyland after the crazy day in Knott. Had a HARDWORKING day until 12am! Bought my annual pass for Disneyland, we'll be there more often for photoshooting and rides! so i decided not to take too much photos cos it's really tiring after the whole day rides in Knott's Berry Farm, those are crazy rides. Never had so much fun in a day before. So decided to just focus on the rides and have fun! yeap. And it's just all about having fun :D will keep my writing short. and post some photos here i found interesting. The rearrangement of photos just kill me. and the window for the compose is so small. :( anyway. i had lots of FUN! and that concludes my weekend.

the beach that i went to recently, was another boring weekend, so decided to just head out and take a walk and some photos. a 20 min bus ride, + 20 mins walking under the strong sun light and strong cold wind. A very nice weather to walk on. Took some pictures, stayed there for 20-30 mins then left. Wanted to go another place initially, but end up here. so no frozen banana this time. Have to head down balboa island no matter what ! for the frozen banana :)

After the weekend, something cool happened :). i got my first car ! wooho. well its cheap ol' car. but it's cool :D 我的黑色小跑车。以前我有个外号，别人说我的车每次都是白色。想到我就想到。。”call白车“ call bak che, call bak che 。点知，来到金山，白车就变咗黑车。两千多就能够买到一辆ok ok 的车。还不错吗。丢了几百块下去修理修理。not bad, not bad :)

also, i did some stuffs that i always wanted to do during my childhood years, :D toy shop! woohooo. The toys here are extremely cheap and good quality too. oh man. i love toys.. went in to the shop and reminds me of the good old times :) where the first place i go to the supermarket with parents, the first stop me and my brother would stop by is the TOY section! weee :) check out all those cool stuffs, transformers, cool cars bikes, woohoo. but this time, it's more for characters and design. good buy, and had lots of fun with it. gonna built a 3d version of it when i have the time :D. big boy now, dont do what kids do, do special sound effects when playing with it. Now i do real special 3d and sound effects together! muahahah :p

people told me that this is a sincity and i have no idea why, and how sinful it is :) well, untill im there, yes i do agree with you all :D Spend weekend driving >360km to Las Vegas. Mainly is to help Ming Wei to drive the car back to OC after he buy his car from there, partially is to get out of the house and have some fresh air and some photography. My crave of shutter sound and street shot is getting worse. So .. m. u. s. t. go out and shot something.

The driving was fun, because finally i can take a relax sit at the back and enjoy the scenery while ming wei drove :D well not untill when we came back. because it's driving time again =( Anyway, it's fun driving in the states, alot of funny things that you'll never get to experience in Malaysia or Singapore, like sand storm?! :) imagine, something like fog, but when it hits your car its like thousands and millions of rain drops hitting your car, but instead of rain, it's sand..

pretty interesting :) look at the sands on the road! fooo :D. and the driving along freeway I-91, we realized that the shape of rocks are starting to change, and ears starts to get "stucked" and Keng Yeow said the mountains reminds him of ice-cream. and it looks cold out side. a sign written 4000ft. some how reminds me of cemeron highlands or genting.

Reached this place where ming wei got his car and we continue our journey to Las Vegas, It's just another 40miles away. or less, i couldn't remember. It's very crowded place over Las Vegas Blvd. we parked some where nearby, and walked around the whole blvd. And man, i thought it's like genting, only a big casino :p, but it's everywhere. anywhere, and you wont miss any. aku maciam budak kampung kat saner, well aku memang budak kampung what.. raised and brought up in a kampung with kebun sayur, dan ayam itik. anyway, it's pretty cool, people there are like having party all day long, holding glasses of wine/beer or any alcoholic drinks and walk around the streets. and alot of "amigos" handing out cards for "call girls" and "special service". and ad's are everywhere, you'll see big ads of those on car moving around in the city.

Anyway, we're quite amazing, none of us are kaki judi, we're practically immune to the city :P walked pass so many casinos and didnt even spent a penny on any slot machines or other card games. briefly walked through most of the big malls like caesars palace, new york new york, flamingo, hmm dont remember the rest. spent our night there taking photos and the famous musical fountain. decided to stay for another musical fountain show, because the previous shot wasn't good enough and didnt get the nice spot. Untill we got it, started to rain, and wind is very very strong and cold! it almost blew us away.and i didnt have my jacket. and the show was canceled due to the strong wind. so we left. and head home. drove another 4 hours + but the going home journey is like never ending of driving. Had 2 stops, and it's freezing out there. But few of us idiots stayed out there and wait for me to try to photograph stars. the sky is clear and you see lots and lots of stars on the sky, which i can't afford to miss this opportunity with my peleng 8mm around and a tripod! stayed few minutes out there to take few tries of 30 and 60seconds shot. Was my first attempt, i'd say i'll rate my shot 4/10. it's too cold to try more shots. so we decided to leave.

Another stop to top up gas, the low fuel light lighted up just when i stop my car at the station. open the door, once i stepped out the car, i felt like someone just ran me over with ice! and there are "smoked" out from my breath. foo it's even colder than the stop we had before! rushed in to the cashier and rushed back out to the car. It's amazing :) love it. Had a good chat with keng yeow, time passed really fast, when we reached home is around 330am. had a good warm shower and then . puff* knocked off. till 3pm the next day :D Another great weekend. Looking for coming weekend to santa barbara. The beaches there are like abalone cove. ! :) hopefully it's as nice as what we are expecting.

It's a great trip, but photography wise, it's rather a little disappointing to me. Didn't have much shot that i like. My 135mm f2.8 had send back for service, might have better shots with it, too bad.

*blogger's posting is annoying! im fed up with editing the spacing and arrangement of the photos, and the html editor is messy , window is too small, and every photo i post went up to the top. I hope they'll do something with it. sigh.

Burn After Reading

Another weekend lazying around, enjoyed it though. We decided to catch a movie. So we went for "burn after reading" instead of "Igor". According to spill.com, igor had a "some ol'b*llsh*t" rating. As for Burn After Reading,:D it cracked me up during the very last end! :) it's been long i have never had that kind of laugh. Not even Stephen Chow's recent movies. I enjoyed it alot. It's a total twist at the end plots are weird and random. But it's a very interesting movie.

My fingers are "itchy" after 2 weeks without snapping and feeling the shutter. Brought my camera out just for the sake of shooting something :D After the movie, we went to sit around the life band they had there. The band is good :) people dancing around and enjoying thier Sundays. You won't be able to see this in Malaysia or Singapore. people just dance around with it :D and you'll feel happy just to see them dancing around.

UV Mapping!

practice on my gestures again. Today can't seems to draw right. can't seems to able to capture the essence correctly. Maybe today is a little too stressed out. But still i enjoyed it. just drew few pages and stop for the 30 seconds pose. Proceed with selecting a pose and study it. enjoyed it so far. Was listening to music when i start, but then it get's a bit frustrating, i remember reading from the book "Animator's Survival Kit" it says, never listen to anything while you're animating, you got to concentrate! therefore i switch off the music. And try again, well yeah it works, it kinda calms me alot and able to concentrate more on the curves and direction. but cant get too far. It squeezes my brain too much. Read that gestures are good for training our Right Brain, which most artist are weak at. oh well. more training tomorrow then.

Work has been "challenging" lately, because i have to work on the same thing for a period of time. Have been creating environment props ... rocks and boulders all the while. Finished some sets recently and the art directed wanted me to polish up the textures for the previous models that i've done. There's quite a number of them. So it's a good practice for me. Trying my best to make it looks great! They have great library of textures that the artist have came up with. and also a very cool texture system that enable to randomize the textures instead of repeating the same one. So i've been UV unwrapping and mapping, applying textures, applying shaders/ materials. It gets really repetitive, i still have alot to go. those that i've crazily created. Now im suffering :D. But im doing my best, will make it perfect, digging out all the textures they have, because i got bored with those "default" ones. but I'm doing great! Still having lots of fun. :D I know someday this UV mapping skill will come in handy ;D I like being trained hard. I'll be patient. start slow building a stronger base before i move up.

每天从工作回到家，就烦要吃什么，要烦煮什么东西吃，今晚的随便无所谓，可是明天的午餐可是烦恼。煮来煮去都是那几样:D。忙完厨房的东西后，就回到房间。打开电脑，画些东西，不然就和正在工作这的朋友们打下牙＂教＂唔系点写。　anyway, 今天蛮享受的，在听哥哥send给我的BB King. 好stim哦。

想念拍照，打开柜桶，欣赏欣赏一下我的‘鲁蜜寺’。拍下两三张。下个周末要出外走走。看看那里还有超漂亮的海边或风景。天气转凉了。夏天要完了。秋天到了，也开始冷起来了。所以，需要去逛逛街，看看有什么有型的jacket可以买。

Gesture Drawings

finally my art blog has back to what it should be.. art.. instead of photography :D well its still a form of art though. will be laying at home for 2 weeks before going out for photo shooting again. Made use of the posemaniacs for some brain practice, it's been long i've stoped gesture drawing ever since i left school. Miss the life figure drawing at school with mr. calvin and Jimmy Kang. They both rocks! Thanks posemaniacs, whoever that came out with this :) salute you! love the random pose they have. Really random with wierd perspective! really gets my brain turning, after drawing all this.. i got to stop for while before my brain recovers! :D

hmm, was doing all this with chacoal on newsprint, but i didnt know a "2D" 3d model on my laptop and with wacom and photoshop, can have such nice feeling, it feels real, and reminds me alot of school days :D Loving it! i think gotta practice more. posemaniacs is more strict to it's 30seconds, while real life model are more forgiving :D you'll have more time for shading etc, but posemaniacs.. u miss that's it.. and skip. It's really a good practising web application. credit! credit! to posemaniacs.

First day of the weekend trip wasn't as good as we expect. Alot of place was under private property, or its just to far to travel. Even with a car. And there are signs like, beware of rattle snakes.. but it didnt stop us :) but the beware of tick signs stopped us.."wear light or white color shirts enable you to see them and wipe them off" Sounds scary. so we didnt not want to risk it. Did some research and found this, some information that is good to know.

Beware of Ticks & Lyme Disease

Went down to San Diego, nothing much interest us, walked around for about 2 hours around the Broadway area and visited the San Diego Convention Center, and the bay behind it. Nothing much either. Head back to the car, and wanted to visit a lake we though near by. about 160miles away, that's like 300km,It's like driving from Singapore to Kuantan. Decided to go there in other weekends. So i recall seeing some ruined church in San Juan, wihch is on our way home. So we headed there, hoping that we'll able to take some nice sunset photos. But it was closed an hour before we reached there. Wonder around there till dinner. Had a good chat with friends, and head home. It's a no luck day.

2nd day, heading to another beach that we thought that is the normal beach. ok, see what this beach is like. But we were so wrong:) not expecting for such a nice trip. Drove up hill, along the cliff where you're at the heights of the clouds, and sea view + cold wind. That is awesome! couldn't resist to stop even says no stopping at all times, but it looks safe. Get down and grab few shots. And continue to head down to the beach. There's where the sign "beware of rattle snakes" are. Along the path, i've spotted small phyton snakes, well not to disturb them and they wont come disturb you. The beach is those we wanted all awhile, less people and nice scenery ! :) its less sandy, but with lots and lots of pebbles and rocks, we found our spot and set our tripod and waited for the sunset. It was the most exciting trip ever, where you'll feel like, you wanted to stay longer for more shots! we stayed till dark, very dark, there's no lamp pose at all. decided to leave when the waves starting to splash on us. I set my camera behind this big rock because i thought that the camera will be safe from the strong waves, but i was wrong, the wave hit the huge rock, goes up like 2 storey high, wham down and splash* im wet. The sun sets slow. anyway we leave before the water raise higher + its a full moon that day. talking about full moon, when we climb up to the top, we saw the moon, full. and lighted the whole area. that was pretty. Will definetely be going there again.

顺境vs逆境

顺境好啊？很好啊。东西都来得太顺了。终是觉得自己不够积极，不够努力，不够锻炼。有些人告诉我说，好好享受一些这段日子。我也如此感受，因为顺来了，后面的可能就是逆了。不过我也不是白白的就到了这个阶段啊。也不知熬过了多少困难，多少的努力，多少的积极才能够达到这个阶段。可是都是一直学习，一直向前看，可能就是因为这样，痛苦也变成一种学习阶段的鼓励和享受了吧？对，学习过程很享受，痛苦很享受，当时痛苦，现在回想一下，嗯！好好玩！：）很享受。

现在才刚开始，小折磨过了。中的开始了。。需要常提醒自己，顺境是很好，可是别忘记目标，别忘记努力，别放松，继续努力！身边朋友们，有很多都在努力，甚至能够以逆境来形容他们的环境。他们没有放弃，他们依然还是火热热的，very the 猛的在努力。你们是我的标杆！我会为你们加把努力！希望你们也一样！痛苦只是暂时，光荣是永远。很熟悉吧？ suffer is temporary, glory is forever! so lets do it together! 高兴有你们这一班朋友。虽然都在不同的环境下拼，可是目标，方向都一样。我们就让大家看看吧。不是白做的，不是没出息的！我们可以的！ganbate!

Eng EE have been asking me how i look, friends as well.did you put on weight? or did you lost weight? well judge by looking at the photps :D i got darker. with a nice Oakley shade "masked" on my face :D hair shorter. Need another haircut soon, it's messy right now.. need to find a better place to cut my hair. And the previous post is not how i look recently :P

California update

yo folks!I'm doing great here. Have been driving around California a lot during the long weekend here last week. There's a monday Labour Day off, so get to go have more time to travel around. Went to Beaches and some big cities. Drivers here are very polite, ok there are also some 'ah bengs' but overall they are very corteous and polite. Worse experience is driving in Singapore! Anyway. Been here for more than 1 month already. Getting used to the weather and life style here. Working here is really awesome! Loving the working culture here. Learned alot during the 1st month, hope i'll get to work on more stuffs in the following months.

Went to L.A the next day, drove past Wilshire, apparently the most 'historic' place because there's lots of old buildings along the road. Stop by Universal studio, and then went down to Hollywood. went for a quick lunch and head up west to Santa Monica Beach through Beverly Hills. But its already very dark, so we dont get to see much things. But that's a good weekend. Still planning some night scenery shots at L.A. Hopefully will get to see more interesting stuffs around California.

Little tokyo: (went there the 2nd time, maybe its a public holiday, the street is rather quiet)

did not want to go back to my "old" lifestyle, but i think im too settled down. :D woke up 2pm today. wanted to go out for a photoshooting, but end up did not because there's no bus to come back. bust service stops at 6pm. that's so un cool. :( anyway. decided to work on some stuffs for my own. this blog is started supposingly for a "art blog" but i think i turned it into a photography .. than arts & design . :D anyway. Did a sketch today. I'm building up the momentum, im sure it'll last long this time , there are lots of cool people in my company i can always walk up to for c&c. i wont waste this one. must drawin their brains hehe. instead of mine being drained most of the time.

在此地已经有两个星期了。小时候就有个很大的“大志” .. 说要到美国，日本，出国做工。赚钱养家。买屋子给爸爸妈咪。买车。。家穷吗。。可是妈妈很疼我们。虽然穷，可是一点都不刻薄我们。穿好的。吃好的。每天弄蛋糕给我们吃。还有她的“拿手” KAYA。棒！虽然打到我们不像样。哈哈。可是都是用心良苦啊。。到了美国咯。也没什么的。只是环境不同，这里工作态度很棒！cool 从来没有试在这种情况下工作。家人都很支持我。彤也一样。所以我会努力，不辜负他们的支持。还有朋友们的祝福。非常感动。挂着和朋友一起出来limteh的那种生活。三根半夜去bandroom打band，真的是岂有此理！哈哈。。

什么时候还有这种机会呢？这里很好。不寂寞。只是想家，大家放心，小弟好得不得了。

reached here safe and sound, mixed feelings, but now more than happy and wanted to start work as soon as possible! went to the office today, foo very motivating :) Just can't wait to start work! and also cant want to get in to our OWN apartment :(

hate the feeling of unable to settle down, still staying in hotels for the first week. Had a smooth flight, unlike the last visit and got detained in LAX for half a day! :( This time round is a lot smoother in San Fransisco.

Weather is cold over here in Irvine, Orange county. summer with 14ºc to 15ºc is crazeh ~ :p but people are friendly over here. First 3 meals having maxican food! gosh. But cant wait to get to the beach for photo shootings.

那天，醒来后，等着小彤来载我。到了后，小彤问，为什么那笼子的门打开了？ fifi不见了。就打个电话给爸，不过我也有备而打的。真的，以我预测fifi真的。。死o左咯 :( 前天还看它还可以跑可以跳的。不过，fifi也几老一下咯，它哥也去了5－6年了。 FIFI，想念你。。

过了一天，妈从万佛殿哪里，抓了只小狗回来，还把它叫啊雪。妈说，不把它领养很可惜，因为那边的啊伯说，小狗太多了。不知怎么处理，可能就把它们放出去吧。妈想，做野狗不如做我们的啊雪。就把它带回家。蛮精灵的小伙子，不过胆小了一点。可怜的它，被啊billy以俄罗斯般的训练。把它的胆子练大点。什么是俄罗斯般的训练，这个，要问啊billy本人才形，别问我。我也不懂。不过，很有效！

其实说goodbye不难过。

最近常常都有遇到这样的情形。其实当你要离开的时候，说再见一点都不难受，而最难受的是当你说完goodbye，在离开的那段时间最痛苦。离开家乡，而由见不到自己的亲人。好难受，不知道什么时候可以再见面。感觉好像以前小时候，常被妈妈藤条一扫下去的那种感觉。一打下去，当然痛啦！可是后面来的那种痛比刚打下去那种痛是完全不一样的。 belakang mari 的痛不好受。痛也是暂时的啦，不要想离开，想想什么时候可以再见面，想一下什么时候可以再回来。T_T

这只是短短的三百四十五公里而已。哇～都那么的难受，那。。。。 14,144公里的距离，可以吗？都一直在问自己。不过，距离不是问题，因为心是紧紧，近近的贴在一起。（说就容易！顶。。。）就以 “前途无量” 这四个字去吧！童会为彤而加油的！希望彤也一样。一起加油！

good to be back

It's been a while im away from home. Finally get to come back and laid back :) without thinking/worrying of work the next day or the following projects~ Finally, ended one year with this superb company that gave me too much i cant thank them enough. But its time to move on. will be looking forward for the new adventurous and interesting job.
Woke up early this morning, never been this early before. Been loooong i'm not waken up be the rooster next door. Ah, love my home, chickens running everywhere, birds singing, coconut trees, fruit trees, green grass... :)

took out my camera and start shooting, looking at things that i always came across when i was young. It's really been years, and things have changed soo much. but the feeling i had for my home, remains the same. "home sweet home". Maybe those that are always around or stay in their home couldn't feel anything about being away from home. It's not fun :p its sweet that can always around in the place where we were brought up. Climbing trees, throwing rocks and stray dogs, blasting toads with fire crackers :p ... all those "playground" that i used to play around. sweet.. Hope im able to stay longer so that i can try my best to capture down the essence of my childhood with my camera.. well it wont be the same anymore.. but at least.. i could capture something out of it. ah time to go around town for photography already.

A sketch in the dark

It's been some time i have not hold up my pencil on my sketch book already. Since i've put down lots of burdern (work :p) i think its time to pick up my pencil and draw again. Quite impressed that, its all still in my head. the love of drawing. It's completely dark in the cab, what made me to do this is the old man in front, driving so passionately, so concentrate on his road. His hands are swaying left and right, so unsteadily holding the steering, sticking his head as close to the windshield, probably in the 70-80. Was so pity over those that still have to work so hard in that age, and its already night. But im very impressed that he is very very sure that the way he's going, you'll feel comfort and save from how confident he is. Telling you that which direction he is going go to reach the destination.

I'm surrounded by chances and opportunity which sometimes made me felt that i am not appreciating it enough! I will work harder for the chances that have been given to me. Will not take things for granted.

Things have changed alot. Soon it'll be a turning point in my life, really looking forward for it. But at the same time there are things that im afraid of loosing too. I look confidence at times, but sometimes its hard too. Hope i'll come over with it. Sometimes things doesn't go like we've planned. Even though my plan have been interfere, It still has to go on as long as the final destination is where i wanted to be. I'm grateful to have all my friends and family around as support. Love you all.

Just bought his album yesterday. This is the first time I've seen this kind of talents. I respect those who has talent but not just looks. But this guy.. he has both, good characteristic and voice + talented. Im speechless :) so no harm spending money on talents.

Maybe its after we have started to work, especially we're in the creative industry. We started to cherish/appreciate each work/masterpiece. And that's what we do for leaving, so why not spend a little for the good of all ? :) anyway the cd quality rocks. Good recording! sounds awesome with my DT150!

mom came over to singapore few weeks ago for her chinese painting exhibition. Take few seconds and just looking at her, i felt that "mom, you've grown so much" I LOVE YOU, MOM. you're the greatest being on earth! 愛妳！
